With his board of directors refusing to let Richard buy a refrigeration plant in Argentina, he seriously considers selling the manor to raise the money to buy the plant himself. In To the Manor Born, Penelope Keith (who was best known for her role as Margo Leadbetter in the suburban sitcom The Good Life), plays upper-class Audrey fforbes-Hamilton.
